Whatcha eating today VSGers...Thursday!!
so I'm doing my three meals and protein supplement and its not bad...can you look to see if this is a good meal as I really am relearning my steps :)
B: Turkey Bacon/egg/protein shake (1/2 cup) 30 minutes before I ate
S: pretty much water
L: P3 Protein pack (Cheese, Turkey and 6 almonds)
S: Protein Shake (total lean chocolate swiss)
D: Pot Roast
Water: 8
Vitamins: Check
Excercise: walked 3 miles
Today is going to be a long day. I am working until quite late, at least 10:00 PM and that has me grouchy. On the other hand, the weekend is almost here. I would love to be your online neighbor, would love to be your real life neighbor too. Although....that could be trouble. :)
B: coffee and milk, followed by a thin turkey burger
L: Tom Yum shrimp soup
D: Liver and onions
Snack: Frisco's Chinese chicken salad.
B: French (organic sprouted wheat) toast w turkey sausage
L: Salad - chopped spinach, pepper, scallion, avo, grape tomato, snow pea, broccoli, carrot, black beans, corn, leftover rib roast
S: depends upon afternoon workout - protein shake or berries & gr yogurt
D: chicken cacciatore
S: protein pudding or berries & yogurt if I didn't have it in the afternoon
W: yes
V: yes
E: hike in hills w dog & either swimming or strength circuit as available

L: 2 Little Ceasars garlic parmesan chicken wings - Stats not too bad: cals 180, carbs 2, protein 12.

Edited to note that I may only be able to do 1 wing! Feeling pretty full off of the 1st!
I am spending a lot of the day outside the home, and figured I'd be a little adventurous and see how I would manage staying within my soft food diet (3 weeks out). So far, so good. I'm a little concerned about dinner, as that is going to be a birthday party, but I'm bringing some chicken salad, and I have a little cheese and will pick up a container of greek yogurt and applesauce instead of eating cake. So . . .
B: Premier chocolate shake + 1T Benefiber + antacid
L: Protein Bistro Box at Starbux--tossed the little pita bread and grapes, and most of the apple just because I felt uncertain that the grape peels would go down well. Otherwise managed the egg, little packet of peanut butter, the cheese, and 1/4 of the apple (without peel). Go me!
D: Probably a little chicken salad and greek yogurt with apple sauce
S: Cheese stick, 2oz cottage cheese and 1oz diced pears in juice, coffee
V: My bad--I was in a funk this morning (much of why left the house so early), and these will need to wait till I get home around 8pm
M: Same as above except for the antacid
E: Lots of walking today, plus usual 1.5m walk with the dogs tonight
W: Working on it; so far 22oz
Breakfast - ham and broccoli slaw
Lunch - lamb with tzatziki sauce and roasted zucchini
Dinner - hamburger and broccoli slaw

exercise - not yet, but off to the recumbent bike
