Whatcha eating today VSGers...Tuesday!!
Today started off a bit weird. My daughter got her bottom braces this morning and her mouth really hurts. I ended up making a protein shake for her with some frozen fruit mixed in and she really liked it. Made me want to have one too.
B: protein shake with frozen blueberries (not what I expected but it worked)
L: shrimp, tomato and onion shish kebobs on a bed of baby spinach tossed in light vinaigrette
D: salmon with Greek yogurt dill sauce
snacks: I have cabbage salad and cucumber salad. I also have some miso soup that Alan made. Will see what I need.
Kicked ass last night in spin class. Had to resist getting on the scale this morning. Like, did I really sweat off 3.1 lbs last night, I doubt it. I am soooo close to Onderland but getting on the scale every day will drive me crazy.
Block and tackling this week.
Pre- B - small Protein drink - biked to work and wanted something to get me there. :)
B - Egg beaters & coffee with creamer
S - Light & fit GY
L - ham roll-ups with LC cheese and 1/4 salad
S - turkey roll-ups with LC cheese
pre-ride home - protein drink
D - Dangerous. Going to a birthday party at my EX favorite Pizza joint. I need to eat something before I go.
V - on track
W - behind
X - bike to work - 6 miles each way with a hill on each end. :)
Everyday I'm fighting to not give into the cravings for junk. I have not been too successful with this but I refuse to give up!
B: shake
S: 2T (ok maybe 2.5 T!) of cashew butter and about 15 almonds
L: another shake because of the above snack
D: salad w/ 2.5oz of chicken in it
S: will try my best to not give in and have one but if I do I pray it's just veggies and hummus and not chips and oreos
Water and vits are good
exercise: only had time to do a 3 mile Walk at Home
Today's been busy and I'm sad to say I'm behind on my water. Hopefully I can make it up through the evening. I have a work event this evening where I'm sure there will be nothing I can eat and only beer served so let's hope they have water as an option too!
B - Mango Greek Yogurt
L - 1/2 cup cottage cheese, rice thins, string cheese
S - ON protein shake
D - Chicken salad (probably)
Exercise - Rest day. I'll probably do some crunches/push ups this evening before bed.
