Congratulations! I was sleeved yesterday and I hear you about the gurgles! I can literally feel and hear each swallow of water. The lortab works much better for me than the dilaudid. I wish you a speedy recovery, we did it!

Yes! I've been thinking about you all day! So proud of you and so happy for you!

I didn't have nausea until the leak test. Meds for that took it away. I continued to eat ice chips since it did not leave me with an uncomfortable feeling from sipping and swallowing. After my throat was not so irritated from the tubes during surgery, I sipped and everything was/is fine.

Keep posting - love to hear your progress reports!

Way to go I know this is a big step for you as I have been reading your posts. I am hopefully weeks away (have chickened out two times) from being on the other side like you are today.
