No robe, slippers at the hospital?

... also the nurses had me slip one arm through the robe armhole and they draped the robe over the other arm which had the IV, buttoned the top button and all was good.  :-)

I wouldn't have been able to wear a robe at any point during my hospital stay since I had stuff in my arms.  The hospital gowns I had (one in front, one in back) had snaps on the shoulder that made it possible to get them on and off.  

I did use my iPhone a lot while I was in the hospital.  A long cord would be good, although might not be manageable with all the other cords in the room.  I had an external battery pack that I used.
