Morning everyone! It's hockey playoff time -- I super into hockey and live in Chicago (go Blackhawks!), but from outside Boston (come on Bruins!), so I have a lot of hockey to watch these days. 2pm games both Sat & Sunday this week. I have to figure out how to fit in time outside and my gym visit this weekend. It's a tough life :)
I'm a bit jealous of Ms Shell in Vegas -- I hope you are getting lots of luck!
Ok food today. I have been getting back on track. Now that the quest bars are out of my house it has been better. The pistaschios are still causing a bit too much snacking. Here is the plan:

L - crustless quiche & pea pods
D - bbq chicken w/ bacon & broc (although did not have room for the broccoli last night)
S - peanuts (on the plane) & maybe an orange or something
E - 2-3 mile run & yoga -- maybe rollerblading if the rain stays away and there is time

Today is head shaving day! It's finally here! I'm so excited. I'm one of those people that has a hard time with patience once I've decided on a course of action so it has been super hard to fight the urge to just shave my hair off this last week. But I waited! I've got four more hours to go!
I don't know what I'll be doing for my meals yet. My third meal might be a FroYo protein popsicle. I really should make my shake so I can have it midday, but who knows if I will. My nutrition has not been optimal just because I'm not making sure to get all my meals in. I am looking forward to dinner with friends, though. I decided that a burrito/taco bar type meal would be fun and would work for all of our different dietary needs. S is a vegan, her daughter is vegetarian, her husband and my two guys are omnivores, and I'm a sleever. I'm sure it'll be a great meal! (P will be grilling the chicken outside so that it doesn't make the house smell like meat.)

Today I cleaned the pond out. The fish seem happy! It was quite a workout as well. Hubby mowed the yard for the first time this year, love the smell of fresh cut grass

Haven't been feeling well today, then after my workout crashed hard. I think it's because I took a new pre-workout which did NOT sit well with me.

S: Quest cookies and cream I got as a sample. done with bars for awhile, have been stalled for a week.

E: zumba, first time. it was fun and a decent workout but MFP was waaay off with the calorie estimate, I'd guess I burned half of what it estimated. I'm ridiculously uncoordinated so I was keeping up and sweating some but didn't feel as tired as I wanted.
