You're getting too thin comments HELP PLEASE
I understand where you all are coming from. I got so sick and tired of the comments from others who thought they knew better than me what I should or should not weight - Really people? My favorite response to the "When are you going to stop losing" question was "When my head falls through my asshole". It's not very tactful but generally shuts that line of questioning off. I'm sure there is a kinder, gentler way to respond; but I had lost all patience with others notions of what my body should look like. I hope you fare better than I did with tact and grace....and congratulations on your success!!!!

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!
Bahaha--my mother, who has not seen me in person post-wls, had this to say: "I was wondering if now that you've lost so much weight you think your nose is too big. Because I remember you always thought your nose was big as a child."
Um, thanks, Mom?
Ignore those people. I know it's hard, but this journey was and is for you and your health. You know who has never told me I look too thin? ANYONE who didn't know me pre-wls. It's just an adjustment for those other people. It's an adjustment for me, too. All my life I was a curvy girl, and now I'm pretty rock-solid (except the extra skin), and it's just weird. I don't know what clothes to buy, or even how to answer those "what body shape are you" kinds of questions. I used to be pear-shaped. Now I have no idea.
The point is that YOU and YOUR DR get to decide when/if you are "too thin." The answer to those people, who are overstepping their boundaries by commenting, is "actually, I can still lose X lbs and have a healthy bmi." If they persist, I'd say, "it's interesting to me that people are commenting that I'm too think now, but no one said a word when I was morbidly obese." That usually shuts them up. :)
I lost 135-ish lbs, and apparently some of my patience for people was stored in that fat. . .
:)
Just give it time, as people eventually stop commenting.
