Whatcha eating today VSGers...Friday??
Aw, Ms Shell - no more asparagus?
This is a question to anyone who wants to answer - I made some protein yogurt pops, they're about 4 ounces and have around 15-20 grams of protein - should I eat this as a meal? Or as a snack to replace a shake? I'm in pureed stage, for what it's worth!
S: Protein shake post-gym, 1T benefiber, miralax
B: 2 ounces egg+avocado puree with some added garlic salt
L: 1 ounce white beans with pesto pureed and 1 ounce meaty spaghetti sauce pureed
D: Chicken Sancoche, pureed
S: Protein shake, 1T benefiber
Vits: 1 of 4
Water: Working on it, I suddenly need to drink more water now that I'm not having as many shakes! Shocker. ;)
Exercise: 45 minutes on the treadmill at 2mph

IMO, I'd use them as a snack. But someone with more experience may weigh in :)

I forgot it was a Friday! That makes sense :) Soon enough there will be bacon again.
That's good advice to consider it a meal. I appreciate it!

Yum, sushi. I wonder if my local place will make sushi without the rice for me? Sashimi would obviously be ideal, but I'm not a huge fan.

I'm almost positive they will. Sushi is very flexible in my experience. OR you can ask for a "hand roll" (I think that's what they're called) which is the sushi stuff just in seaweed. I don't personally enjoy the seaweed all that much so I just eat the insides :)

I will have to experiment with this when I'm able to eat solid food. Although I figure that I'll be able to order one roll and have it last for two meals! Quite a change from the old me.

Ever try seared ahi? Many sushi places will offer it. Or a handroll can be made without rice.
