Batteries are essential for the scale
So I had a Dr's follow up yesterday and after realizing just how far off my weight at home was versus the scale at the doctor I decided to come home and investigate. Turns out my plateau is still in full effect because according to the doctor I only lost 2 lbs and not the 9 in total I thought I had. I think I needed this though because I was driving myself crazy and when I thought that my plateau was over it made me analyze it and now, ticked as I am, I'm doing okay with it.

Good for you!! Sometimes bad news can be made into good news. I know that when I weighed in for my final pre-op I had only lost 8 of the 15 pounds I was "required" to lose for surgery. I expressed my disappointment and the surgeon assistant mollified me a bit telling me I had until surgery day and that they would not cancel my surgery because I had not gained weight but I really felt like I let myself down. So I put my full spirit into losing weight the last few days before surgery and guess what? Weighed in on surgery day 1 pound lighter than I was "required" to be!! Made my day! Take care and don't lose hope!
