I keep cheating (in my dreams)

The last few nights I have been dreaming about food, and eating bad things (donuts, chips etc).  The dream feels so real and I get nervous and freaked out from it.  So odd.  In reality I do not feel that tempted by junk food anymore.

Anyone else cheat in their dreams?

I have crazy food dreams.  Sometimes I eat the food and sometimes I do not.  The other night, I dreamt I had a big tub of coconut haystacks from one of my favorite local chocolate places.  I kept popping them in my mouth and thinking that I shouldn't be doing it.  When I woke up, it took a couple of minutes to figure out if I had really done it.  In reality, I haven't been tempted by candy or sweets in 8 weeks.  Better in my dreams, I guess!

Well, they say that we work out our issues in our dreams.  So you may have a fear of backsliding perhaps?  Pretty normal if you ask me!

Cheating in our dreams is definitely better than in real life.

I also definitely worried about backsliding.  Terrified in fact.

Ever since I started the liquid diet I have been having the same problem! I'll wake up in a panic thinking I ate, and then a few minutes later I realize I was dreaming.

Classic anxiety dream - you are dreaming about this because either consciously or subconsciously you are scared of eating that stuff.   The good news is that dreams aren't real :-)

When I first got sleeved back in January, all I dreamed about was cheat foods. Now I only have those dreams once in a while, but I do have them. I'd say it's totally normal!

I still sometimes have "nightmares" that I'm eating candy/chocolate/etc. and that I'm Fat again or that I was never really thinner and have always been fat and my current existence and weight loss was all a dream.  Rod Serling is not there when I wake up, but I wish he was.

I used to have dreams that's was smoking a cigarette after I quit. Freaked me out. A friend said her pastor told her to relax and enjoy it in the dream. Once I did, the dreams reappeared less and less. I haven't had one in forever now,  I stopped smoking 13 1/2 years ago.

Based on that, if you know your dreaming, pass the cake! In the morning shake your head and say I sure hope you enjoyed that cuz you are not getting it in real life :)
