we led support group again tonight

Well, our support group leader ended up calling Mike & I to cover for him again this month. The leader is a pastor so sometimes there are schedule conflicts. It is great that he trusts us to cover for him when he can't be there.

Since we didn't have a lot of time to prepare, I set up a list of "go to" websites and blogs for helpful hints and recipes. I had OH at the top of that list. then I followed up with cooking blogs. I made sure I included Michelle AKA Eggface, and our own much loved Frisco's food blog as well. Not all blogs were WLS related, but since there are many good low carb ones out there, I decided to share them. Some even have dairy and/or gluten free options too.

I have a neighbor that I share my cooking experiments with who is both lactose and gluten intolerant, so it is nice for her when I cook. Her oven is broken too, so she really enjoys it when I bake.

Overall, it was a good night, just thought I'd share.
