Our daily bread- I mean protein!
This surgery has been the best thing that I have ever done for myself. The benefits are starting to get too long to list. I got off my meds for high blood pressure the day after surgery. I got off the cholesterol meds two weeks after surgery. I can exercise and not be in pain. I feel like I am getting my sassy back. I feel like food is not such a battle. I enjoy my meal and watch for the "full" signal. It is simple. I put away wait I have leftover and eat it the next day. Let's say that I am not feeling being held hostage by food! Wow! just realized that. I know at 53 I can have a healthy and sexy (woah! I have not used that word in a long time about myself) body. I rock my grey hair. I believe that a woman can look gorgeous with grey hair. My younger sister was the major incentive to have surgery. She was treated for breast cancer in 2012. She had a surgery followed by chemo and radiation. She lost her hair and suffered the side effect of chemo. Her skin was burned by the radiation! I realized that if she can do that then I can deal with eating less! Why would I complain about doing something that is the best for me? She didnt complain! I also let my hair go grey when she lost her hair. If she can loose her hair i can go grey! She is doing great and so am I!!!
