What is a number? Goal weight?
What is that number? When I had my consultation my surgeon asked me if I would be happy to lose 60 lbs. Of course at the time it was my impossible dream. I have reached that goal and have made my own. I have looked at pictures from different times in my adult life. At 144 I was happy. 132 was my lowest weight as an adult. At 5'2" that would put me at a normal BMI. I could go lower because of my height. I think Elina's post on the right weight is timely for all of us.
What I have determined for me that I will keep going right now. I do know that as an older sleever I absolutely do not want any plastic surgery. If there is too much draping or hanging I will stop there. Right now that is ok.
Since I was heavy for such a long time, people are asking if I am done losing now. The answer is no for now. Time will tell where this goes- one lb at a time! Just my Sunday musings....

Yup, just keep going.....I have really kind of given up on a particular number, and just plan on moving along with my plan each day. I am 54, down 88 pounds and healthier than I have been in many years....I don't see any reason to change the plan I am on- the scale moves down ever slowly the further out I am from surgery, thats ok as long as I focus on my healthy choices, and forgive myself, learn and move on when I screw them up at one meal or another!
I figured why buy the ticket and only take half the ride? I always intended to loose 100% of my EWL and was hopeful that would get me to a normal BMI. If only just barely. I happily surfaced all that.
