Okay - here I go - jumping in finally!

Hi everyone!  I've been lurking on this site for quite some time now, and finally got the call from my surgeon's office this afternoon that my insurance approval was given.  Still waiting for a surgery date - hopeful it will be in January.  I'm so excited and yet very nervous at the same time!  I have searched around on several different WLS support sites, and this is the one I always seem to come back to, so I am happy to finally be joining in as someone who can offer my thoughts and experiences.  Nice to "meet" you all!  I'm hopeful to have a surgery date before the end of this week!  What a nice Christmas Present!

Congrats on your approval!!!! I am having the surgery on wednesday the 18th so I will be saving you a seat on the loser bench when I get there.

Congrats on your approval!  I hope to be sleeved in January, too.  We hit a snag with insurance (hubby got laid off and waiting for Cobra paperwork to come in before they can try to get me approved), but hoping by the end of the week we can get the approval process going.  Can't wait to hear how you do! (PS, I have also lurked and found this site to be my favorite).

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get that approval!
