One year surgversity celebration- before and after pics.

Well, here I sit --what can I say?  What hasn't been said before-  How this WLS can change a person's life for the better? How the NSV"S are every bit as special as the weight loss is- and sometimes more so? How, while my body has grown smaller, I have grown so much larger in so many ways?   Yah, all of that and more.  Just troll through the forum on any given day to read how each of us is working out our own salvation, as it were, in this area of our lives.

What I do want to say is that HOPE  was manifest as a Reality  in my life this year.  Hope is the belief in the reality of something unseen happening sometime in the future. Before I began this journey, I had no hope of two things- 1) that I could ever loose to goal and 2) that I ever could maintain that loss for any length of time.  The first hope has happened- it's real; I've lost 200 pounds and I can say that I have a HOPE that with continued perseverance, practice, and staying with what I know works, I can maintain this loss.

Those of you who have just begun and for those of you somewhere on your personal journey- appreciate the process!  Everyday is a day to learn- practice-grow stronger in good eating and exercise habits.  It is the DAILY commitment and compliance (thanks again, Frisco), that will take you go goal.  I have a level of pride in my achievement that is an accumulation of over two years" worth of effort.  I want to keep that going.  I wi**** for all.  Miss 150 is growing up.

OMGawd!!!  I dont think I ever saw your before pics.  You have done so well!!!  I would be proud too!  Heck, I am sooo proud of you too!!!

You have inspired me a lot lately so thank you.  Sometimes we take things for granted but you have clearly appreciated & worked hard for all your success.  You deserve it, you look soooo great my friend!!!!

Aw, Jenn, it pleases me so much to consider you my friend.  You give so much back to this forum in the   way of encouragement and truth ---Love ya back, girly-girl.

You are such a lovely lady, both in your physical appearance and also in your kindness and your sincerity.  Beneath that calm, ladylike exterior there beats the heart of a warrior!  :)
