My head is spinning and my over-sized tummy is in knots. I know it's the right thing for my health. I know I can do this. I'm just scared sh*tless!

if you where not scared you would have mental health problems and would not be ready for surgery , everyone id scared

wait till your sitting in the prep areas with them hooking up the iv ,,

im shore all will be fine as long as you told all your health problems to your surgeon

this is a very safe surgery

You can do this. It is good to be scared - means you've done your research and realize that this is a life changing event. I'm still waiting on word from Aetna (fingers are crossed and lots of prayers being said).

I just got approved as well and the date is 11-11-13. I am going to have the sleeve procedure. I am extremely nervous to the point that I can't eat. Started jounaling and going to support group meeting tonight. Another patient is scheduled for the same procedure, same MD and I hope that she is here tonight so we can connect before, during and after!
