Crossing fingers....prayers please!

I just called the surgeons office and they have submitted my paperwork.  Prayers for approval...please.  I'm hoping to get this in by the end of the year.  Approval is risky because the surgeon is sending in documentation from the last time I was to have surgery, which was a year ago (very long and frustrating story).  So, it's not 100% up-to-date.  If they don't approve this, I'll just have to re-do the 6 months stuff all over again.  So, it's not the end of the world, it will just feel like it :)

Prayer said! I'm in a similar situation and mine is at insurance right now too. What company do you have? I'm with Aetna.

Not to sound like an idiot but I'm not for sure how my insurance works.  I work for a school corporation that self-insured but my ppo stuff goes through Coresource and Aetna.  I don't really know who has the final say.

Just a heads up... Aetna revised their CPB in August to say that you couldn't gain weight during the pre-surgery process. They are a stickler for having 24 months of documented weight (doesn't have to be every month, just documented weight for at least 24 consecutive months).
