Hi Ladies! Great to come across this thread. I have decided to move forward with sleeve surgery and am currently deciding which surgeon to chose (I will be going to Mexico as I am self paying).
There is a lot of information and personal experiences regarding pre and post surgery but not as much info about post, post post surgery :) So, if you have a moment, I'm wondering about your thoughts and physical feelings about food now.
How does the volume/amount of food you are eating now compare to what you were able to eat after the surgery?
I have read that many people find it challenging to eat as much as they are supposed to after surgery because they simply don't feel hungry anymore. Do you feel hungry (and therefore think about food and get cravings) they way you used to before surgery?
Thank you in advance and thanks again for posting!!!

Hey Paul, great to see you here! Heres a joke for you :
A young couple is out carousing one evening. While driving down the highway the guy says to the girl, "If I go 100 miles an hour, will you take off your clothes?"She agrees and he begins to speed up. When the speedometer hits 100 she starts to strip. When she gets all her clothes off he is so busy staring at her that he drives off the road and flips the car. The girl is thrown clear without a scratch but her clothes and her boyfriend are trapped in the car.
"Go get help.", he pleads. ...
She replies, "I can't, I'm naked."
He points to his shoe that was thrown clear and says "Cover your privates with that and go get help."
She takes the shoe, covers herself, and runs to the gas station down the road. When she arrives she is frantic and yells to the attendant, "HELP! HELP! My boyfriend's stuck!"
The attendant looks down at the shoe covering her crotch and replies, "I'm sorry Miss. He's too far in."
Hi I am one of the new ones - but it was good to see your post as you have similar "stats" to me and I hope to see similar results in the end as well!
You also gave good advice about old habits - and It is on my mind all the time. The only person I know locally to me that had the surgery lost about 100, and put back on about 25 in short order. I see her around and surmise that she picked up some old bad habits.......I am really hoping not to do that! Glad to see that you were able to put a halt to it after a smaller number.
Thanks for checking in.
