Funny (but great!) NSV

I'm still giggling over this one:  last night hubby and I needed to run some errands and we ended up at the grocery store where we did the ol' "shop-and-drop".  He drops me off, I run inside and pick up whatever we need, he circles the parking lot and picks me back up.  

Well, I came back out and looked around for him and saw him hovering at the back of the parking lot.  Usually he sees me right away and shoots down the row to pick me up.  I figured he was distracted so I started walking down the row toward him.  When I got in the car he said he was embarrassed to say that he didn't RECOGNIZE ME as I was standing on the curb!!!  

When your husband can't recognize you from 50 paces away, you know you've made some BIG changes

I can identify with your husband. My husband has lost 140 pounds since his VSG. He travels for work and I drop him and pick him up at the airport. My mental image of him has not changed as quickly as he has. When I pick him up from the airport, I still find myself looking for a big teddy bear of a man and am always surprised when this tall, sleek, handsome man gets into the car with me.
