Haven't been on OH in a long time!

Hi all, I haven't been on here in forever. It's been 2 years post op now and I can say I am as pleased now as I was shortly after surgery. I have maintained my weight loss and still doing well. Not to say that I don't need to reel myself in once in a while. We can get a little lazy with our diet, or at least I can on occasion and be a little lax.

For those wondering I still begin each day with a protein drink. That has been a constant in my life since surgery. I still make most of my food. I snack more now than I use to, this is where I get into trouble. Late night snacking!

But overall I couldn't be more pleased with myself and the results. Hang in there all of you newbies, stick with it and you will be successful. Best decision I have ever made!!

Love to you all

This is so me. I was thinking the same thing. I'll be a year out in November. I have chronic insomnia which is my biggest problem. I've been this way my who,e life. I find myself wanting to snack late at night. But I'm keeping under 120 which is where I need to be. I probably need to be closer to 120 than 115. I average around 117. So I'm good.  Love my new me!

It's great to hear you are doing so well!!!  Thanks for checking in with us!!

I happen to see your comment on frisco's food porn post & you mentioned Doc Hollywood.  She popped in a few months ago to update us that she was about 2-3 pounds from her goal of 140 pounds.  She didn't post a pic but I'm sure she is as beautiful as ever.  I was supposed to meet up with her a long time ago for a Kaiser support group meeting but she has to work ... maybe one of these days.  It would be nice to find out what she's been up to.

Again, congrats on all your success!!!
