Well, here I am, one year out, time passes fast. Today marks the day that I took the step that would cause big changes in my life. I could really write a book about the good, the bad, and the ugly (almost all good). I am currently on my lunch break, so it has just been a regular day so far. After work I am meeting Mike and some friends at Starbucks and then I may go do something special to celebrate. I view this day almost like a birthday, I need to celebrate the new life I have. I'll probably post again later tonight or tomorrow to let you know about the rest of the day. I am grateful to have this place to share that good, the bad, and the ugly (oh the skin).
For the new ops, and pre-ops, it is a great ride if you follow the plan and stay focused. Most of us are not medical people, but the ones who have gone before us and are successful know what they are talking about, their advise is golden.
