Be careful what you wish
The uncertainty is the hardest part, I agree. Hopefully you can make some adjustments to your eating plan and in 4 months, will have some more answers. (easier said than done, I know)
As far as the eating...is the 3 oz of meat a certain type of meat or all things giving you trouble? Most of my friends/family don't know about my surgery either, so I usually stick to fish or seafood when I eat out. I can eat a bit more, it is usually the least caloric choice available, and people don't seem to notice. I generally don't eat filling things, like bread. I can eat quite a bit of salad if I eat it first too, so i tend to eat salad quite often to help me feel like I'm chewing and eating more and then focus on my fish or seafood on my main meal.
I know alllll about that band mind bull**** I never had such a sweet tooth until my band. Yep, can't eat, always puke, slime, etc... well I guess ice cream or chocolate will do....how screwed up! Gotta find something that helps curve your craving, but doesn't do as much damage as MCD cones! lol...
**realize I say this as my MFP clearly shows the 600 calorie chocolate bar consumed today...face palm!**
I know you are one strong lady! You will make a plan and succeed.
When you first have surgery - the first couple months - you cant eat very much (i called it new-op restrictiction -means right after surgery). The further out you get from surgery, the more you can eat (to a certain point).

The ER is uselss - ive learned that much in the last couple months. I dont think anything should be reallly wrong - I'll just be uncomfortable if I eat too much. Guess I'l avoid that for a while.

Have you tried things like canned chicken or else processing the dense proteins down to pureed form? Yeah, I know, kinda gross with some proteins, but stuff like chicken (she said, optimistically) can read like chicken salad if one adds some RF mayo. Just a thought, and maybe a way to get dense protein in without so much discomfort.
I'm so sorry you're going through this, hon.
Surgeon wanted you to wait why, exactly??
He just didnt think it was an issue - and he thought I should take advantage of not being able to eat much since I told him im not happy where I'm at weight wise. He said their shouldnt be any problems...but I wasnt vomiting at that point either.
I havent really made any conscious changes because im still blahhh about everything - ive just been forced to eat less (and let me tell you, not being able to eat indian food the other day was a big freaking bummer). But Ive ordered my shakes, so I'll be good.
This would really all be perfect without the acid that makes me hungry. If I could kick that part out, I could be happy eating 1-2 oz of meat a couple times a day lol.

If you find out what they are going to do please let me know.
OK, don't hate me, but I am going to kick your butt (just a little tiny bit) but not about what you probably think. I really don't like what is happening (the narrowing at the bottom) and if your doctor is not taking it seriously, I think you need a second opinion. I can think of some not so good things that can be going on and I want it checked out. (I know, I am not you, but I love you so that counts). I am going to ask you about it in Anaheim, so you really need to address it by then, (or else avoid me, which I will make sure to make very difficult). I care about you and I am not pleased with your surgeon right now. I want answers, this is not normal and could get worse (read harder to treat) down the road.
