I had my sleeve done on 7/29 and so far so good.  I'm definetly getting tired of the liquid post op diet.  I feel like I'm always, always, always drinking! :D  But since about 4 days out, I've been able to get at least 64 oz water and 60-80 grams of protein.  So, so far so good.  I have my first check up with my doc on Friday.  I don't post much but I do read the post and really appreciate all the information you guys share.

Hi!  I had my surgery a few days ahead of you on July 24, 2013.  I hear you!  Today I can move to pureed/soft food...I haven't yet...may try an egg for dinner.

Welcome and good luck on Friday!

Lana

So jealous of you.  I can't wait to move to the next stage.  I don't really like eggs much but the thought of eating one makes my mouth water.  Just so ready to be past the liquid stuff, I guess!

Hi gonnabhealthysoon,

Welcome to the other side and welcome to the OH Losers Bench. Congratulations! That's what is feels like being on the liquid diet after surgery, soon you'll go on to the full liquid diet then puree diet then soft diet and so on. I know you'll do great - if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish (believe) anything. You're doing great so far. I wish you luck at you first follow-up with your doctor this Friday. I wish you the very best and luck on your journey.

Once again, congratulations.
