Feeling Light Headed and Weak - 11 days out - do you know wny that might be

I never had high blood pressure so have never been on any meds.

I am trying to get more fluids in and will call the doctors office tomorrow.

In addition to dehydration and low blood pressure, it could be low blood sugar. I experienced dizziness around day 10. My doctor said to drink some Powerade Zero or Propel water, and it helped a lot. My electrolytes must have been off.

I too had feelings of weakness and fatigue.  I would get dizzy if I tried to push myself and rush around in those early weeks.  I think it is the low amount of calories in our post op diets.  If you read about people following Very Low Calorie Diets (VLCD), the same symptoms are experienced.   It does get better, though.  I am at six weeks and had some really good days this past week.  Everyone tells me that you see a big difference at week 12.  At 6 months, I am expecting to conquer the world.

Thank you! I have been pushing myself, cleaning and even doing exercise video Friday - shame on me. Thanks for letting me know that could be contributing to the problem.
