Feeling Light Headed and Weak - 11 days out - do you know wny that might be
I am feeling a bit light headed and very weak - is that due to so few calories being intaken? Has others experienced this?
I am already seeing my Surgeon on Tuesday due to an allergic reaction to the dermabond that sealed the incisions but I think they may actually infected. They gave me an RX for the itching and pain but they are very very red.
Anyway, I am concerned about the light headedness.
Thank you,
Kimberly

It's also probably due to your lack of calories. Are you tracking your calories? I (and many here) use My Fitness Pal.

Definitely make sure you are getting all your fluids in. Dehydration is no joke!
You are also not taking in near the amount of calories you were before surgery so the fact that you're running on much less fuel than before probably is another contributing factor to the lightheadedness.
Are you taking any blood pressure medications? This could also cause the lightheadedness if your BP is lower now than before.
Hope you find out what is causing your lightheadedness and that you feel better soon.
