First, thank you all for the wonderful messages I got today. I know im such a big baby flipping out about this, but i love you all :)  My phone is dead so I couldnt reply to everyone, but Im okay.

I was worried about damage from acid and/or ulcer - the good news is there's none of that. I got some good pics - ewwww. Not sure I really wanted to see them.

But, I have a stricture of ssorts in the lower part of my stomach which has likely been the culprit of my pain. The doc (who - on a side note is just super super super hot - that's for you Ree!) said he could still get the scope through it so he chose not to dialate it at this point because of the risks. If the pain persists, we will talk about it in a couple months.

My nap wasnt long enough. I only got to sleep for 15 minutes!! That's not fair! I didnt slleep at all last night, and im exhausted. And im not allowed to take any sleeping pills for 24 hours, so I might have another sleepless night. Booo for that.

Yay! I think????

Good news, not good news. Sort of hard to go with. Great that there's no damage from the reflux, but leaving the whole pain issue unresolved is not great. Hmmmm........

I'm sure you'll sleep tonight. You'll be too exhausted to stay awake!

It was relatively good news - i can live with it knowing my stomach isnt eroding lol. I probably wont sleep since i cant take sleeping pills for 24 hours.

Glad to hear it went fairly well.  I remember being exhausted afterwards as well and sleeping all day.  Question for you - I'm curious did they say anything about the size if your stomach?  Is it similar to your post surgery size?

Im going to get a copy of my medical records soon and see if he put anything in there about it. He gave me pictures but I couldnt get myself to ask him if it seemed stretched out. It was just a normal GI doc dooing the scope so i dont know if he be able to tell anyways. I think if it looked structurally disturbed he probably would have said something?

Glad you're doing okay for the most part.  I haven't been on here lately, so maybe you've mentioned this already...how would you describe your pain exactly?  Just want to know what to look out for...not to be overly worried, but it's good to know.  Thanks and hope you're feeling better.

Sometimes I have sharp stabbing pains in my stomach...sometimes its just like....a stomach ache. Dont know how to describe those.  It's not constant, but frequent enough to irritate me.

Just want you to know that I'm thinking about you, and hoping all the best!  At least you know what's causing the pain, so hopefully, it will put your mind at ease enough for at least one decent night's sleep!

Take care!
