Help with skin issues

During week two post-op I developed severe hives and my internist and I were able to figure out it was the Prilosec.  I stopped it and the hives went away almost immediately.  At four weeks out I developed this awful upper body rash (arms, chest, back).  Not hives, a *****ly kind of rash.  I thought first it might be vitamin sensitivity because I was doing super doses of Biotin (5000mg) so I stopped that.  (I'd had issues with rashes before when I did low-dose aspirin therapy).  So far, rash is still here.  Today I am stopping all supplements and non-necessary meds except for my multi vitamin.  I'm really hoping it's not the Zantac that I'm having a reaction too because I need something for this stupid reflux issue.

Has anyone else dealt with this?   If it is a reaction to too much Biotin (or whatever), how long will it take to get out of my system?  Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom!

I had a lacy rash that covered my front and back within the first week after surgery. It looked more like a heat rash than anything else, but didn't feel like it. It was mildly itchy.

I think it may have been from CT contrast when they checked me for clots, possibly triggered by or exacerbated by the steristrips because the area around each steristrip was extremely inflamed. I have a history of reacting to adhesives.

After a two night course of liquid Benadryl and removing the steristrips, it settled down.
