That sounds wonderful. Oh, the green chicken soup, worth the effort to prepare for sure. When I make it, I freeze it in lunch containers for work because it makes a large pot.

I love Pho. Love it. However I believe Pho is specifically beef soup but many Vietnamese places will say Chicken Pho for marketing purposes. I could be wrong, would love to hear from a Vietnamese on this. Anyone? I will ask my friend who is Vietnamese tomorrow. Either way I have had them both and they are both great. Ther is a Vietnamese beef stew soup that is particularly good too. I second, third, and fourth Elinas green chicken soup. It is freaking good.

I think you are right which is why i never tried it before...i went to a pretty authentic vietnamese rest in the Bay Area and they only had beef pho and it was only rare meat...and I couldnt do that. When I went out and discovered I could get some with chicken, I was all over that :)

Damn all of you are going to FORCE me to make this green chicken soup. Unless someone wants to make it and bring me some.

That's so rad.  I LOVE soup but ever since I got my sleeve, I have a really hard time with it. It makes me really nauseous. I wonder if it's trying to go throughh my pyloric valve too quickly? Does anyone else have this problem? I want to love soup like you do, Alyson!
