Sensitive Exercise Dilema

Half way through my cardio I have overwhelming urge to poop. It doesn't matter what time of day either. I don't eat before my workouts but this still happens. I actually have to get off the machine to go. Needless to say I don't dare go for a run outside. Anyone else suffer from this and is there a way to stop this from happening?

Happens to me on occasion and I welcome it these days. It gets the blood flowing and the bowels moving. Long distance runners sometimes have this issue.

That used to happen to me occasionally back in the late 80s/early 90s when I did step aerobics.  (I'm olllllllld.  lol)   All that good exercise must be stimulating your digestive system, which is a good thing, really, even though the timing is annoying.  I wish I had a solution for you.  I do want to compliment you, though, on getting your cardio in to the extent that EVERYTHING is getting a workout.  :)

My experience is that, as you get more fit, this doesn't happen as much. It used to happen to me a lot but never happens any more. I guess my digestive system got used to exercising!
