Approved and scheduled!! Woohoo!!

Started my doctor assisted diet on January 3, paperwork sent to insurance on June 3 and approved on Wednesday, June 12!!  Preop appt. was yesterday morning and surgery scheduled for June 19 (due to a cancellation in doc's schedule).  I had been on the first phase of the pre-op diet for a couple of weeks, trying to prepare myself.  Now on day two of the full-liquid diet, which has basically just been the protein drinks.  I sure am hungry though!!  I think tomorrow I will get a little creative.  Four and half more days!!!

Congrats. Yes you have to be very creative when it comes to the liquid diet. I Had to do 14 days of the pre op liquid diet and it was a long 14 days, but now i am post op i am so glad i did exactly what was asked of me. I feel like a champ...lol Good luck sweetie and we are all here for you!!!!

Yee haw!  I think of the surgery as the peak of a dang mountain I've been trying to climb my whole life with no success.  After the surgery, it's all downhill (with a few bumps and bruises along the way)!
