NSV Six Flags!
This week is my vacation and my husband did not take off work today, so I decided to take the girls to Six Flags and get our season passes processed and get season parking. I did not go to Six Flags or get passes last year (my VSG was 7/24/12) since I did not enjoy it the year before. My father in law bought them for us for Spring Break but ended up not using them over Spring Break.
I almost had heat stroke the year before and my feet hurt so bad after an hour. I was tired after the walk from the parking lot. The rides were not comfortable. I could get on them and buckle in, but I felt like a stuffed sausage about to pop. I was hot and miserable. I really hated the rides that took your photo, loved them today, I was looking good! :)
Today, we got there at 11:30am, and had to process our season passes, good news, if you have Season Passes and pay to park, if you take your receipt in with you, they only charged an additional $7 and we can park at any Six Flags all season. I think they just upgraded my 10 year olds pass. I have the parking put on hers so no matter what parent or grandparent takes the girls, they don't have to pay to park. I had my 10 year old and my 7 year old with me. We never stopped moving, we rode rides until they finally petered out on me at 5:30pm. I usually avoid the water rides, but I loved them today. We were soaking wet when we left, good thing I have a company car. I would have stayed for a couple of hours longer, but the girls were done. Not me, I was not done. I can't wait to go back. I will take extra ziplock bags with me, I could have made a killing in line at the water rides! People were begging for them for their phones!
I also refuse to buy drinks there because they have to give you ice water at the non-mobile concessions.
My feet don't even hurt! I still have energy to do all the laundry from our beach vacation.
I love my sleeve! I am so happy that I was able to take my girls to Six Flags and wear THEM out!! If anyone is ever in Arlington, let me know, I will come ride some rides with you any time after I get off work!

Which park did you go to? I bought season passes for my husband and I, and our 3 girls. We go to Fiesta Texas at least 2-3 times a month. Normally end up walking between 3-4 miles each visit. Added exercise for me, and sneaking in some for the kiddos as well. I wouldn't be able to deal with all this a year ago - I wouldn't have been able to go on the majority of the rides at my former weight. I love being able to take my girls so often!
