Dizzy when standing at 10 months out
This is usually explained by your blood pressure getting too low or even your blood sugar getting too low. At least this is the issue in most cases. You should monitor these numbers to find out which one it could be. Also it is possible that your caloric intake is a little low. Don't forget that you get energy from calories.
My best guess is it is a blood pressure issue. If you are on blood pressure meds (and I seriously doubt you are at this point), you need to either get your PCP to reduce your mg or take you off them all together. Even if you aren't on bp meds you can still have your blood pressure dipping too low. That will always give you the symptoms that you are descibing.

I just had my 9 month check up this morning with full blood work done on Friday and I'm perfect in my levels of everything, so I definitely put it down to calories. I up them by a couple hundred (from 700ish to 900ish) for a couple of days by adding a high calorie snack each day (normally some nuts or peanut butter on grainy toast) and it normally sorts itself out pretty quickly.
Yep, and for different reasons... I will list all of them here, but please know different reasons at different times.
1. Vertigo (presurgery). It was aweful, but I do not feel this was part of the issue post op.
2. Early post op- due to low sugar.
3. Electrolytes. Not from dehydration- fluids overall were always easy for me to get in. Doc suggested Powerade Zero daily and it helped. Not fixed though.
4. Low sodium. This is the one that by far helped the most. As soon as I increased my sodium the dizziness all but went away, unless the low blood sugar kicked in on me. I take a supplement every so often. edit* I had low blood pressure, and the sodium helped raise it up to a more tolerable level. Still no where near 120/80, but much better!
5. For my husband: when he lost weight the metformin and high blood pressure was doing it. Once he stopped taking them he was fine. He no longer needed them!
