Finally -- I can wear pants that do not have a W in the size!!!!
I wen to the "Nearly New" sale held by the women's auxiliary at a local hospital to try to pick up some inexpensive clothes - and make a nice little haul!
Of course, I was initially traumatized by the huge communal dressing room, but hey, $4 Talbots pants have a dramatic impact on my modesty!
I came away with a Columbia jacket ($8), several pairs of shorts/pants that are 18s, one pair of pants that's a 16W, and several shirts that ranged from medium to large.
An excellent shopping day!
