Moving on, and moving forward
I just want you to know that I wish I could give you a huge hug. You are beautiful and wonderful and worthwhile just as you are right now. If nothing else changes, you would still be a hero to many. Your light touches others every day and the journey doesn't have a final destination, it just continues.
Awww I definitely need a big hug :) I need to start learning to really love myself - one of the most difficult things ahead for me.

10 Things I appreciate about Alison:
1. She is kind to me and others.
2. She is level headed..
3. She is and will continue to be my inspiration to exercise- it is because of her I did not make excuses to get moving, no matter how hard it was at first or with my occasional challenges.
4. She does not profess to be perfect and consequently demonstrates that the path is not a single direction, but a true journey.
5. She is tenacious.
6. She flew to a foreign country for plastics and did not let anything stop her. I will be replicating this journey once I can afford to, and she makes me feel like it is doable.
7. She is just damn funny!
8. She is forthright.
9. She makes great suggestions.
10. She makes Oh a better place!
Hang in there Alison. I just wanted to share a moment just how much I appreciate you.

First, {{{hugs}}} to you.
Second, thank you...it's vets like you that enabled me to go ahead with wls, and keep me grounded as well. I don't want to think everything is going to be easy. I want/need to know that it's going to be hard at times, to keep it real. I was reading your posts last yr long before surgery.
And thank you for that wonderful quote re discipline/regret. Take care of yourself, you sound like a wonderful person...and you have many admirers here!

You are an awesome person and should be proud of all that you have accomplished. Everyone has bumps in their journey. Its getting through those obstacles that get in your way that matters. And that you have done. Just keep doing your thing. You have inspired many of us over the past couple of years. Don't forget that. :)
You are amazing! You have accomplished so much and I hate that you've been feeling down. We don't really know each other, but I will offer any kind of support that I can. You were the first person to reach out to me when I joined this site to offer advice, support, etc. and seeing your accomplishments has given me so much hope for the future since we started out at very similar weight/height/ages. I would consider myself damn lucky to follow in your footsteps. Your success pre-op has been a big driving force and motivation for me to follow in your footsteps in that aspect as well.
I'm so glad that you are real and honest and that you continue to keep trying! I hope that you know what a successful and inspiration that you are! I don't know how, but if I can help in any way, ever... just let me know!
