New Workout -- putting on Spanx! LOL!
To get my "jiggly bits" a little more under control, I ordered a Spanx tank top and a Spanx thigh length pant -- so that when I wear certain types of clothes, it doesn't look like I've plastered my body with jello.
Anyway, have any of you all ever worn these things before? If anyone had been watching, I looked like I was having a seizure, twisting and turning, tugging, wiggling, falling on the bed, and finally emerging from the episode completely ensconced in the Spanx -- smooth and firm!
So I put on the black dress that previously clung to my muffin fop, and presto! Sleek and clingy in all the right places. I turned around, and gazed in wonder at my newly flat butt (I had taken out the butt pads, after laughing hysterically that any garment I'd wear would need butt pads!).
I strutted into the living room and flounced around to show my husband! He was quite impressed! Then he said, "What happened to your butt? It's gone." I told him that it had been compressed into submission and that I'd removed the butt pads. He thought I should put them back in, so he could see the difference.
Right -- getting those things off, putting the butt pads in and getting it all back on? That's a workout for another day!
When I exercise I wear compression shorts which are essentially sporty spanx. Only they have been around a lot longer and used by athletes (make me feel better about using them). I also use a compression belt around my waist when I run to keep the flabby skin from giving me a black eye. In all seriousness it does make running quite a bit more comfortable.

Ah, yes, I remember those days. I had a fabulously sexy (NOT) all-in-one, the donning of which was indeed what MuttLover describes as a workout. I hated that thing, but I liked that it smoothed things out a bit.
I think there are Spanx in my future after all of this weight loss, but thanks to the warning I'll start getting in prime shape for it now. :)
LOL!!!!
I cannot wear compression stuff becuz of this!!! It's a damn chore to get those suckers on AND off. Plus, I need to breath & I feel like I start to sweat just thinking about it all! I do like to wear cotton lycra bike type shorts, sports bras & tanks when I do decide to workout because it just feels better to be in tight clothes but that's usually the only time I do. I haven't worked out in for-ever; I suck balls. No wonder it's taking me forever to lose these last pounds!
