My DEXA Scan
This is just 1 of 3 pages. I officially know my "real" weight which is just .7 less then my home scale. I know how much of my body is my lean mass, how much is fat, how much my skeleton weighs (just a flipping 6.51lbs), how much each one of my limbs weigh and how much is lean and fat breakdown I know EVERYTHING.
I was blessed to find that UCLA has a body composition program that does the DEXA scan for a mere $50 (these tests normally range upwards over $150) so yeah.

I have done both this and the InBody BIA, and the results were the same.
In my area, the DEXA was $279 and the InBody with the Physiologist interpretation was $95 (www.denverchss.com).
I found the DEXA people didn't know much about what to do with the information. In terms of time, the BIA test was under 90 seconds, the DEXA was 12 minutes and I don't like being in the tube.

Hilary, I'm interested in this too and googled our area. Price wise it isn't too bad. http://washington-institute.com/rice-options/
