Whatcha eating today VSGers...Friday!!
So "Operation 100%" got SEMI derailed this week. It could have been WORSE (I know because I've been derailed SEVERAL times). This year 2013 is MY year and I WILL get back to MY goal weight. I have MORE determination then I have had in a few years. Can't believe it'll be SIX years since my surgery in November...when they say time flies it REALLY does. Anyway in order to succeed I MUST plan. So I'm planning and WILL be back on 100% well 100%!!

L: Amylu Caramelized Onion Chicken Burger; Spinach Salad

you can do it Shell!! I got derailed a bit myself this week and snarfed a bunch of rice last night but whatever today is a NEW day!

B: 2/3 of a breakfast burrito. Bleh. Made me feel gross.
L: Chike coffee shake made with skim milk (out of my almond unsweetened vanilla )
S: Quest brownie protein bar
D: Not sure yet. Think I may stop off and get a grilled chicken salad on my way home. Either that or a protein shake.

Im 13 months out and I can eat a whole quest bar....could I eat more, sure, but I'm satisfied with one. You have to learn to be happy with satisfied not Full......It depends on what you eat if you are filed quickly. Of course I can't eat near as much as I could pre-VSG, but I can still eat a lot of crap (carbs and sugar) if I allowed my self to. Lean meats and protein, I can eat 2-3 oz.....depends on the day......hope this helps
I choose to eat just 1/2 a quest bar because that fits BEST into my plan for TODAY.
I can eat about 6-12oz of food DEPENDING on what the food is and WHO prepared it.
I weighed today's lunch just to answer the question =). Today's lunch comes in right under 8oz of food (the burger is 4oz and my salad is 4oz). I have maxed out at this amount since 18 months give or take.
I can eat MORE then I believe the average sleeve but in the GRAND scheme of things 8oz is NOT a TON of food. My meals average 3-5oz of protein 3-5oz of vegetable etc.

L: KFC chicken thigh, mini sweet peppers
S: KFC chicken leg
D: smoked turkey leg ( some of it since its huge, sharing with the kids!)
