What's Dr Cirangle's viewpoint on Nsaids for VSG?
Yeah I don't think Tylenol works for anyone! Even extra strength. How much advil do you take? I found pre-op I had to double the dose to work with Advil or Alleve. Not sure if it's a good idea to take double dose now. Maybe having lost weight a single dose will work better than before. (doubtful though)

Me neither I suffered through the last 3 periods since surgery with no nsaids. I was miserable and couldn't function at all. Glued to the heating pad for almost a week each period. It's not going to happen for my next period I'm giving in. If I get an ulcer I will have to deal with it later. rrrrggghh.

I asked him in the hospital after my VSG and he said they were fine.

From my experience, I'm staying away from them. I also don't have any major need for them like you probably do. I just know that I woke up in the middle of the night with pretty severe pain, that came and went like waves, and found out I had three ulcers from ibuprofen. This was all prior to surgery and I was also on a PPI. NSAIDs just work so darn good, though!
