My quote of the MONTH!!!  "I need to get out my OWN way and let the process work."  We all stand in our own way since before WLS we KNOW what works we just don't work it.  I know for ME the process of staying on track is EASY EASY EASY since I had WLS, the HARD part is I get in my OWN way and don't WANT to work the process but YET I sit and expound that I WANT to get to goal.  You can't have it both ways.  You honestly either want it and will do EVERYTHING in your power to get it, on you'll stand in your own way and FIGHT the process.

no science on breakfast being any worse than any other meal to skip ( unless you are a kid trying to pass 3rd grade math)

that said, I didnt PLAN to skip it...    when I got to work to have my protein drink, my milk was spoiled   :(

Maybe no hard science but my personal experience suggests otherwise. But the milk is a good reason.

I am following the 30 grams of protein within 30 mins of waking up routine and I have to say I have had a pretty steady loss going for a couple weeks now. So not sure what part of that it is,  but it seems to be working.

I understand....I do swimming laps at 5:30...   I need the energy that the protein drinks ( or occasional egg sandwich) give me....   I cant get up much earlier than 4:45 or I will not have had enough sleep... but if I do not drink by 5am, I do not have enough time for digestion, I get nauseated when I try to exercise with it swishing around in my tummy....

its a constant battle....   if I am not working out that day, Im OK with skipping breakfast because its likely because I plan to have a heavier in calorie snack/lunch and I will get in most of my water goals for breakfast instead

actually there is Science to prove skipping breakfast is the worst!

You end up being so hungry later that you overeat at lunch or when you do eat, also breakfast is the flame that gets your metabolism going for the day

that doesnt prove that skipping breakfast is the worst meal of the day to skip...it only indicates that POSSIBLY the NEXT meal would provide for overindulgence

If one skips lunch, the next meal ( dinner in many cases) would have that affect IF said affect would happen to them at all....      IF one skipped Dinner, the same could be said for their next meal, likely breakfast AGAIN IF it were to happen at all....    so it doesnt matter WHICH meal was skipped....

that said, I didnt overeat for lunch....

Breakfast isnt the flame that gets MY metabolism going for the day....  its all relative to everyone's personal life...what time they went to bed, what time they got up and even more....

metabolism, overall, isnt dependent on ONE meal...so even if breakfast is skipped, the fuel burning process isnt slowed down... it would take MANY missed meals to do that, its called starvation mode
