Happy Easter and Happy Onederland!!  Excellent post and I will try and remember your post when I hit my stalls and the doubts creep in!!

Jenn   Highest weight: 278. Starting weight: 275. Surgery weight: 253. Month 1: 25 lbs. Month 2: 8.8 lbs. Month 3: 12.6 lbs. Month 4: 7 lbs. Onederland 7/29/2013. Month 5: 7 lbs. Month 6: 5 lbs. Months 7-9: self-induced maintenance, then 5 lb gain.

Yay, Onederland! And yay, new thinking and behaviors that will help those pounds continue to drop off. Be proud-stay strong. Congratulations.

  goal!!! August 20, 2013   age: 59  High weight: 345 (June, 2011)  Consult weight: 293 (June, 2012)  Pre-Op: 253 (Nov., 2012) Surgery weight: 235 (Dec. 12, 2012) Current weight: 145

 TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

Congratulations for the positive thinking. I am trying. My porblem is that I have been staying on program and I am gaining weight. It scares me to gain back what I have lost. I am was 12 down as of 2--19. Now it is creeping back. HELP!!!!

What exactly are you eating? Are you tracking your intake?

If your calories are low and protein and water intakes are good, then numbers bouncing around is just part of the process and shouldn't be worried about. If you're unintentionally taking in too many calories then you'll need to trim those back.

I just realised your surgery was only about 6 weeks ago. You must be very frustrated, but I bet it's just the normal bobbling about that we all had a few weeks out.
It'd be close to impossible for you to be eating enough for actual weight gain. I bet you'll see a sudden loss in the next short while.

Welcome to ONE-derland!!! it's awesome and scary here!!   I love your enthusiasm!!  I will be there with you as soon as I have my back surgery!! Still on track for the 11th! PRAY!!!
