Whatcha eating today VSGers...Tuesday!!!
Whenever I limit my calories too low, I end up wanting to eat whatever is in front of me if I get too hungry so even though I need to lose a few pounds that I've gained, I try to keep my calories between 750-850 during this time. If I try to go too low like 600, I end up eating more than I plan. Especially on evenings that I am up late. But you'd be proud of me last night. I was in bed, lights out by 10:30pm, woot!!!

This is YOUR body and only YOU know it. So don't get totally caught up on the 600, 40, 40. I KNOW that works for some, but for me it didn't and the more I tried and failed the more frustrated I was. IF keeping between 750-850 WORKS then do IT!! And stop comparing yourself. YOUR race, YOUR time. Better to eat 800 then to try 600 and end up binging on CRAP.
I have set numbers (which to me are HIGH) because a none WLS set them which is 1200 calories. I was SCARED ****less at first, but I noticed when I was eating at around 800-1000 I would FALL off. Since I've been doing 1200 I'm not hungry and as long as I plan my meals and snacks I've been on Opertion 100% 10 days so far. I plan my meal and so far am keeping it at the numbers that HE wants as far as calories and fat and keeping them where I like them as far as carbs.

Exactly!!!! I am figuring out what works best for me. I was seeing a pattern of my days at 600-650 & I was falling off the wagon. When I upped my cals a bit by maybe adding a small snack after dinner that was healthy & on plan, I noticed I was able to go to bed feeling satisfied.
Yay us Ms. Shell. We are doing this!!!!

I've started having a high protein breakfast BEFORE my morning cup of coffee and it seems to be helping with getting in my protein and staying energized for the day.
B: scrambled egg with cheddar cheese
L: bacon and swiss quiche with a little side salad
S: cojack cheese stick and turkey pepperonis
D: home alone tonight. I think I will make "pizza" on a low carb tortilla with ricotta cheese, sauteed onions, and turkey sausage. We'll see how this goes.
S: Skinny Cow Salted Caramel Pretzel ice cream bar...oh my these are good. Not the greatest but I'm doing kickboxing tonight so I am working it in.

Got two pieces of bad news today. Stopped at the convenience store to "get my sick kid a candy bar". I, of course, bought a king size one. Got home, took two bites before I realized what I was doing. Gave him half of it and threw away the rest. That's a win, even if it was totally automatic and rationalizing. So, yeah. Learned something today.
