She is right, carnita is pork but I had a chuck roast that I slow cooked w/ Mexican influenced flavors left over. I used it to add protein/flavor to egg bites

L: half of a sole meuniere and green beans, a few olives, a few peanuts

Starving yourself isn't healthy & in the long run won't work.
It would be better if you just started 600 calories again.

Intermittent fasting is actually quite good for you (which is what he's doing).

Maggie, the trick is to not go too long unless you are doing it for other reasons. I also take my vitamins still on IF days. The easiest way to do it is to eat from noon to noon and then fast from noon to noon, that way always during some awake period your body is getting food. I am still a bit old school in my fast and fast from awakening to awakening. I need to retrain myself a bit to go the other way.

Would you mind explaining this? Or even Keith for that matter?

I'm very curious of the physiological aspects of this?

I know I'm only a few weeks out, but I seem to bounce up and down once or twice a week (which is normal) but I'm just really intrigued by this.
