Ms Shell, you rock.  I was thinking of you the other day as I experimentally lifted a kettlebell from the shelf at Target.  Aieeeeeee.

I thank you so much for your post and for putting your honesty out there.  Yes, that 100%.  So far (only four months out in two days, granted) I am eating 100% to plan, and so far my plan is very structured and is more clinical than enjoyable.  Being sleeved certainly gives one that opportunity.  That never happened with me personally before in all of my years of dieting, even when I lost most of my EW 20-some years ago, for a brief time.  I sure learned a lot about myself after that disaster.

I do get a bit worried about commitment as I get further out postop.

I believe in you, and I believe you can do this.  From what I remember of your posts you have gradually been working up to this point of reconnecting.

Yes indeed it's been gradual and frustrating but the other day when I finally BROKE down and cried because I was so frustrated it made me realize I have been HERE before.  The only difference between then and now is I DO have an amazing WLS in my tool box and it makes being 100% so much easier and yes I say it ALL the time because for ME it makes me 100% EASY!

I get in my OWN way and want to find a new route.  I know it's MY eating that makes me lose weight I KNOW this but time and time again I like everyone else wants to be the OTHER person who can lose and just put in 75% effort on the diet.  Welp...no more 75% for me and if that means that occasional I PLAN in some M&Ms instead of just a handful that doesn't count, then I will do that.  As long as it fits in calories, protein, carbs plan I MIGHT.
