Did I just dump? Or is it a panic attack?

Yep that was a dump.
I can still dump now, almost 4 yrs out. But it doesn't happen very often now.

It can definitely happen with sleeve people, which is why it is important to have protein with carbs and be careful of fatty foods. The bariatric internist said that some people do experience this, and it may be due to increased transit time of food through the stomach.

Even pre-op if I had too much sugar i got shaky especially on an empty stomach.  I believe I definitely dumped since I ate it on an empty stomach and what I didn't realize is that so called atkins treat only has two grams of protein.  I thought it had more.

Yes, I also experienced dumping pre-op, if I ate too much sugar or fatty foods. Our sleeves are even more sensitive. I haven't experienced dumping post-op, but on a couple of occasions, I have experienced an elevated heart rate, which is why I stay away from simple carbs and high fat foods. If I do have something sweet, I also have some protein with it. At 2.5 years out, my tolerance for high fat foods is low. I tried some quiche recently and it made me sick, so I need to stay away from that.

There is a study on the internet ( I don't remember where I saw it now, but it's on google or something typing in dumping in partial gastrectomy) Partial gastrectomy is like the sleeve because a part of the stomach is removed and nothing else is touched. Some of them even have as much stomach gone as us sleevers. Anyway, the study showed a percentage of people did experience dumping episodes after having a partial gastrectomy. So it is possible for sleevers to have it too, for sure, since we in essence have a partial gastrectomy too.

I have started dumping after Premier Protein shakes. They have 30g of protein and only 5g carbs. I drank one too fast the other day, and I felt HORRIBLE... After running to the bathroom, all I wanted to do was lie down. Sweats, heart racing... After resting for about 30 minutes, I started to feel more normal.
