Just bought an Easter Dress -- the first one in ages!
I am in total shock! I haven't even worn a dress in forever. I did buy one two years ago to wear to a wedding (size 24), but it was tight around the hips, and in the end, I decided to wear pants.
Today was a beautiful spring day in Charm City, so we decided to take the Mutt for a drive to the Outlet Mall. I went into the Jones NY outlet, looking for some summer shirts, and saw a few dresses. So, mainly for sport, I tried some on.
Well, I ended up buying a brightly colored pink floral dress, fully lined, in a size 14W! And, it was only $20! Original price, $169!
Now I have to buy shoes. I literally do not have a single pair of shoes that can be worn with a dress.
I am in a state of shock. A dress. A size 14W. Pink!
Who am I? Who has been hiding under this huge layer of fat? Guess I'll be finding out!

I cannot remember the last time I bought a dress either. Next month is my daughter's wedding and I don't own a thing to wear for that event. I decided to ask my gal pals first if they might have something because I'm just now into a size 16 and don't want to put much money into a dress that I'll be shrinking OUT of soon. (Hopefully!).
There's a "large girls" consignment shop in my area and I'll also be looking there for a dress.
Can't WAIT until I can say I'm in a size 14W!!!
