It's Monday and I'm back =) I am finding that hitting my Personal Trainers goal of 1200 calories a day, is helping me NOT to snack. I hope the scale is kind to me tomorrow!

Today is a basic weekend detox day. :) It's been a real fun one and I need to get back to basics.
B: 5 egg bites about 30 calories each with a bit of hot sauce. 150 calories.
L: Alan's homemade chili about 150-200 calories
D: Alan's soup with wild mushrooms, about 150 calories ( I am going to have more than one cup and I am adding lite sour cream). That's about 500 calories. I might need a few snacks.
Snacks: veggies, or more soup or chili if I am hungry. I plan on eating this way for a few days.
Mine are super low because I use my own recipe. I do use the whole egg, but much less egg and way more of other stuff. I take my turkey chili (which is super low cal and is mostly veggies and very lean turkey and combine it with some eggs. The eggs are just the binding for me and the chili is most of the "egg bite". I use about 10 eggs and two cups of chili. The breakdown is 10 eggs at 72 calories each and two cups of chili at 150 calories each divided by 42 egg bites. It comes out to 25 calories, but I add in an extra five just in case.
I like the chili idea. In your chili what do you do for the tomato? I have a problem with the carbs being higher than I want and it comes from the beans and the tomatoes I use. I have considered taking out the black beans but its one of the few sources of fiber I have, I have also considered stewing my own tomatoes, but that is time consuming too.
I bet it could get the egg bites down though using a turkey taco meat combo though.
