Day 23 of Shelluary ~ “It's not about perfect. It's about effort. And when you bring that effort every single day, that's where transformation happens. That's how change occurs.” Jillian Michaels

For the last 5 YEARS after my surgery I let my diet to the work. I would work out on and off but nothing I would call consistent. To be honest I worked out more at over 300lbs then I have in the last 5 years....so with that today I feel like ******** I say. After my kettlebell workout my hair hurts and my toenails, but as par the course I'm going to do some supermans and planks and squats ala orders from my PT. WHY??? Good question...oh yeah because it's about the EFFORT I am putting into myself!!

Ms Shell, your kettle bell saga cracks me up. The first time I ever did them, it was an hour long class. The teacher had no real idea how to adapt the class to accommodate beginners. She just said use lighter bells and if you can't do all the reps that's ok.

When we were done I sat in my car unable to even consider moving enough to drive. Usually workout pain doesn't affect you for several hours or the next day. This was so intense it was immediate.

I refer to this time now as - when I experienced death by kettle bell.

I didn't return to her class, but still dabble in the bells. They are a great friend/enemy.

LOL luckily it was an Introduction Class and it was 2 beginners.  I really like this place...I bought it via a groupon...he's been there 2 years and so far the intro classes are SMALL once I see the other classes and use up my 12 classes I am SERIOUSLY considering buying more at "regular" price, which was expensive...but I'm remembering I'm worth it!

Well today is all abou****er...TMI...my bowels are not moving even with help and the added veggies....so I couldn't eat if my life depended on it...lol.  So I used a fourth of bottle of the clean out your colon liquid for testing liquid and am waiting for relief....in the meantime how much water can I pump in my system.   Then maybe if the plumbing starts to work I will have chicken and veggies for supper.

V:  Done

W:  48 oz..going for 120 today

E:  Not feeling so well, but hopefully later
