HAPPY MARDI GRAS

Day 12 of Shelluary ~ "No One Can Make You Feel Inferior Without Your Consent" Eleanor Roosevelt

This quote goes out to my lovely "sister" Noel Boquet.  Throughout your life from birth to death people are going to say things about you...good or bad...but guess what??  You don't have to OWN anything you don't want to.  I can't remember the context (I'm sure it was BADDDD) but my own sainted mother whom you all know I loved beyond...once told me "a zebra never changes its strips" I was mortified that my own mother would say such a thing.  You know what...in that moment I turned my life around.  You see in life there is always a choice, if someone calls you a fat **** you can either wallow in self pity and be insecure and FEED into what THEY said you are, or you can be who YOU say you are!  The only person that holds power over YOU...especially if you are an adult...is YOU!!
