Being in customer service I have found this to be so TRUE. When I get the "I'm angry and as I result I'm going to take it out on you calls" I just breath deep and TRY not to let their attitude affect mine and by the end of the conversation it's MY helpful and pleasant attitude that affects them. I live my life simply with the attitude of "don't treat people how THEY treat you BUT how you would WANT to be treated." So be nice if you want people to be nice, smile if you want people to smile, say hello if you want people to say hello...bring joy if you want joy!

Exercise: Haha, SHOVELING! I can't even see my vehicle right now (a minivan no less). Thank you NEMO!!!

We're all fine. We are very lucky we didn't lose power because most of our neighbors did. The one I feel worst for in my house is my son's service dog Captain Kirk. He's a mini dachshund and he gets totally lost in the snow! All you can see is a little tail sticking out of the white!!

Hehe, no kidding Ms. Shell. I did strength training on my arms yesterday at the gym too. I should have just waited until this morning. They're killing me now!

Good morning, Ms Shell!  I hope you are feeling better today!  Excellent post as usual.  Having been on the other side of customer service myself, I ALWAYS say to a rep or whomever that I realize that he or she did not cause my problem and that I am not taking it out on them.  Do unto others ...

1:   three egg whites fried in scant Pam, two JD turkey sausage links

2:   three Sargento RF string cheese sticks (had to forego the planned deli turkey when I realized it smelled "off"  :(

3:   .75 c 1% cottage cheese, one tomato slice

4:  .75 c Hormel white chicken chili (finally trying this for the first time; I've factored the carbs from the beans into my plan for the day and should be just fine) AND two egg whites fried in scant Pam to hike that protein up

Last night's catfish did NOT sit well.  :(  Don't know if I ate it too quickly or what. 

fluids:  on track for 80 oz

vitamins:  on track

exercise:  recumbent bike and a bit of walking
