The hair. Sigh...

Darned picture - working on it - it's in my profile

I have lots of new hair - and it's even coming in brown, not silver, but it's still very thin on top.

That was the very worst part of this whole journey for me.  The hair loss from 3-7 months is brutal.  It has grown back in, but going in the shower was really sad there for a while.  I even looked at wigs, fortunately, I never had to buy one.

I am four months out and spitting over my left shoulder as I say this, spilling salt everywhere and all sorts of rabbits feet hanging everywhere... haven't seen any hair loss yet and am not the praying type but am praying hard to keep it that way. I haven't got much to start with so may the Gods of hair hear me. Hope yours is coming back strong and full!

Im with ya! Mine was pretty fine to start with. Im just going with the "don't wa**** for 3 or 4 days so that it gets a it dirty and looks thicker" and the "wear hair up a lot" strategies.

I vacuumed my room at the weekend and had to get scissors out to cut the bloody stuff off the roller of the vacuum head! I have long hair and there was a LOT of it, tightly wrapped around the roller. Between me and the cat....hopeless!

I am 5 months out and in serious mourning over my beloved hair - what's left of it anyway.

I am starting to find hair everywhere.  I hope it doesn't get any worst.  Fingers crossed!! I finally look half decent and now I'm going bald!! Sigh...

If you'd look at all the hair on my shower floor after a shower, you would think I was completely bald. I have always had nice thick healthy hair so it's isn't looking bad yet, but I can tell how much thinner it has become. My ponytail is nowhere near as thick & bushy as it used to be.

I'm sorry!  You look great though!

My surgery is scheduled for 2/21 and this is one of the things I'm most scared about.  I have thin fine hair.  I'm praying it won't be all that noticeable to others, although I know it will be to me at least.  I'm having dreams about being bald and buying wigs.  Ugh!

I sympathize with all who have lost hair. Mine is naturally very thin and fine and straight. Knock on wood, I am 4 months postop and not seeing any hair loss, yet...

Over the last week I've noticed a lot of hair loss... I've been taking zinc and biotin since about 1 month out hoping to curtail any loss but here I am.  More than anything, when it comes back, I hope it doesn't come back grey!!
