TO GOOD TO BE TRUE?  NO, it's true!!   Just had one of those new quest cravings. The one thing I miss from having surgery is chocolate and pb. Now the company that makes quest protein bars has introduced a new product called quest cravings. For 2 cups they are 20 protein and 10 carbs just 1 gram of sugar. Do they taste good? Yes. I'd rate them an 9. Not a 10 cause I found them a little dry. Not quite as close as the real thing but really it's the best FAKE candy I've ever had! I was satisfied with just 1 cup (which would be 10 protein 5 carbs) that kicked the spot for my afternoon snack. Where you can buy them is www.questcravings.com FYI they are 100% natural sweetened with Stevia and Erythitol.

Disclaimer:  Warning PROCEED WITH CAUTION THIS CAN BECOME A SLIDER FOOD and/or a TRIGGER FOOD according to a post from one of the vets!  At this point I am so newly sleeved that I felt restriction after one cup so it's not a slider food for me yet.  But I do understand how it can be because I've noticed the less dense the food is the easier I fit it.    I'm only 6.5 weeks out.  To give you an example I can fit 4 oz soup EASY maybe more if I'd let myself.    I can only fit 2 oz dense protein at a time.   See the difference?  So if you have these just be careful not to go overboard cause I don't wanna be blamed.    LOL !

Have a great day!

I have a sweet tooth from you know where and right now I'm on my TOM. I ordered some to try them and got them in yesterday. This is not something I will always keep on hand, but I want to have them during my TOM because I usually fall of the wagon. I figured if I had these that would help me stay on the wagon!! They were pretty good, lots of cal. though!

Agreed.  Probably better to only have now and than.  Cause the calories/fat is high.    I agree this are nice to have around for TOM.   Last TOM i made it through eating lots of cheese.   Of course that's kind of fatty too but at least it has protein.   I'm actually trying to go a little higher fat just a little though cause i think I'm starting to have problems with my gallbladder.   I heard increasing fat does help for that along with taking the preventative med.

Good thing for me that they're made of dark chocolate and not white chocolate. I can't stand dark chocolate for some reason - too bitter I guess. If it was milk chocolate it may tempt me - if it was white chocolate I'd be a gonner!!  LOL

I am almost 2 years out from surgery and finally ordered them a month ago. YUK! But I love Premier protein shakes in chocolate but hated the vanilla.

Everyone is different. Since I ordered a box of them my husband tried them and since we don't have anything in the house other than protein and veggies he eats them. He said for him they would be rated a 4. I can't even watch him eat them, they reminded me of fake chalk.

The protein bars just read too close to being candy and cookies to me.   Really carby, too, versus the protein benefit, IMVHO.

If I really want to have a chocolate/peanut butter taste, I make a Chocolate Splendor shake with unsweetened almond milk and a bit of PB2.  These days even that is too sweet for me, but it is a safe meal for when I'm on the go and can't sit and carve solid food into tiny bites for a half-hour.  :)

Actually not to argue but if you check the nutrition facts the carbs in Chocolate Splendor and PB2 together at 1 serving each are higher than the Quest PB cravings.  It's 5 carbs for 1 pb cup.  I'm full at 1 pb cup.  It's 10 carbs for both PB2 and chocolate splendor and I'm not even full on fluid.  Personally I don't think the flavor of PB2 is is that strong anyway.  When I do do my protein shakes I make sure the carbs are lower so that can get my carbs from solids to not go over 40 on average.   For example most protein isolates whey have little or no carbs.  Also this is a big plus for me Chocolate Splendor is artificial but Quest protein bars and pb cups are all natural.   So for me I'm sticking with what I got.  I use About Time and Jay Robb for my shakes since they are natural.  I have tried many of the artificial ones but I'm not keen on it.  Much healthier to stay natural.  With the exception if I'm in rush I'll grab an RTD shake (which unfortunately they are not natural. )
